A) All Matrrixx cricket equipment is manufactured to strict quality controls. The process starts much before the raw-material quality control checks. It begins with selection of the top vendors making such supplies. Meeting Matrrixx's high quaility needs is not the only criteria. What's more important is the subsequent level of consistency in quality; and the vendor's capability to provide product development and improvement on a continuing basis. Of course, the level of exclusivity offered is a major factor as well.

Armed with this solid support from its vendors, notwithstanding the quality of the raw-material, Matrrixx's skilled craftsmen put their skills to work. Matrrixx attracts the best talent there is -- who in return put in their best efforts, to offer you equipment that is nothing less than the very best. With such a philosophy, there is usually no room for complaints. But try as much as Man would, he is still a child of Mother Nature, still unable to fully comprehend, understand and replicate Her miracles. In our pursuit to provide you the ideal cricket equipment, our efforts have always been to move in harmony with Nature. And we are still in the process of understanding more and more of her secrets with every passing day. The cork, wool and leather that goes into the making of a cricket ball; or the willow, cane and rubber that a bat is made from, are all 100% natural materials. So are the components in most gloves. We do our best to ensure the finest and the best materials go into the making of all Matrrixx products. Yet every once in a while, Mother Nature reminds us that she's still in charge. On this account, there may be occasional unpleasant situations, which are attend to promptly, and to the the best of our abilities. Such experiences should not be construed as inferior workmanship, or faulty manufacturing.

B) The performance of your product relates directly to the way it is used, maintained and cared for throughout its life. Quoting from an Australian cricket catalogue -- "Cricket blades are made from a soft fibrous piece of willow. Each blade possesses its own characteristics and requires individual attention to obtain the optimum performance from the bat. It is essential that a bat is thoroughly "KNOCKED IN" for a period of time prior to hard match use to allow the willow to develop its maximum strength and sweetest feel .......... Special protection should be paid to the protection of the toe area. You must expect surface cracks to appear with normal use. This is not normally caused by faults in the willow. These potential problems can be minimized by the application of protective films to the face and edges of the bat." It is important to note that because of the materials which make up a cricket bat and the violent impacts incurred during the game, we cannot actually give a guarantee against damage or breakage of a cricket bat. Bats are designed for the ball to be played 12cms to 20cms from the bottom, and in the middle of the blade. The edges, toe and shoulders of the bat are necessarily not as thick as the "sweet-spot", and are hence more prone to damage. All players, however good they may be, do occasionally mis-hit/mis-time their shots. It must be understood and accepted that such shots can cause damage to the bat. Needless, to say as a gesture of goodwill towards our customers, we undertake repair jobs on such bats at the lowest cost possible. Bats are also exchanged when a justified case arises. So is the case with other products in our range of equipment.
